Nature Therapeutic Wellness by Evolve Nature Therapy in collaboration with Free Haven Forest School
This group program for children and their parents includes weekly hands-on therapeutic instruction outdoors teaching you and your child creative ways to explore nature; focusing on sensory motor activities while incorporating speech, language, social skills, and food exploration.
This course is hosted by Free Haven Forest School and taught by seasoned licensed professionals including occupational and physical therapists and a speech-language pathologist. This course was especially created to focus on the whole child, and to allow all children access to nature and its therapeutic benefits.
Each 4-week session includes a 2 hour weekly course featuring nature-based experiences with each therapist, guiding you and your child through nature in each season. Build community and have fun with like minded families outdoors, and then practice what you learned at home.
Schedule and Registration
Explore Engage Embrace will be offered as a pilot program on Thursdays, 3:30-5:50PM March 21st through April 11th and April 18th through May, 9th 2024. More classes will be added based on interest.
Schedule
Registration includes weekly PT, OT and Speech in nature. Monthly registration for the pilot program is $250. A bulk registration discount will be offered in the future for families who sign up for 3 or more months at a time.
