Camp Themes
Tools & Tinkering
June 8-11
Campers become makers and builders as they design, test, and create using real tools and natural materials. Sticks, logs, rope, hammers and loose parts turn into inventions, structures, and contraptions as kids tinker, problem solve, and proudly bring their ideas to life.
Creek Keepers
June 15-18
Campers explore the creek through careful wading, building, and discovery while learning how water shapes the land and supports life. Using tools, observation, and guided play, kids search for minnows and crayfish, build dams and channels, and develop confidence moving safely and respectfully through flowing water.
Living Off the Land
June 22-25
Step into the world of homesteaders and pioneers as campers learn how families once relied on the land for food, shelter, and survival. Through hands on skills like gardening, simple tool use, food preparation play, and studying animal resources, kids discover timeless practices we still use today to live off the land.
Wild World Cup
June 29-July 2
The forest becomes the field as campers compete in nature inspired challenges from around the globe. Through team games, obstacle courses, and ecosystem adventures, kids explore wild habitats while learning how cooperation makes both teams and nature stronger.
Trail Trackers
July 13-16
Every footprint tells a story. Campers follow tracks, investigate scat, search for nests, and decode signs left behind on muddy trails and creek banks. This week sharpens observation skills and turns the forest into a living mystery waiting to be solved.
Wildcraft & Woodland Survival
July 20-23
Campers use forest materials to create both practical and artistic projects, weaving cordage, crafting simple tools, building shelters, and shaping items from sticks, bark, clay, and fibers. Through gathering, building, and hands on problem solving, kids learn how people have long relied on the woods for daily life and survival.
Ancient Worlds
July 27-30
Step back in time as campers dig, build, and imagine life long ago. Fossils, rocks, dinosaur tracks, and shifting landscapes spark curiosity as kids explore how the world looked before us and how plants and animals have changed across time.
Fire, Light & Energy
Aug 3-6
Warmth, glow, and wonder fill this week as campers explore sunlight, shadows, heat, and fire through guided play and experiments. Kids learn respect for powerful elements while discovering how people use fire, light and energy to survive and thrive outdoors.
