Wildcrafting your own health and wellness support offers a pathway into a world that values and celebrates our connection with plants and nature. If you find yourself reading this, right now- there is something tugging you to become more rooted in nature and rediscover this ancient relationship! In each session of Rooted: Wild Medicine, we will:

  • Learn about the different types of herbal preparation

  • Start to identify wild herbs used for health and wellness

  • Start your own journal of useful plants- a materia medica

  • Make and take home wildcrafted goods

  • Responsibly forage seasonal offerings from our bountiful acreage

  • Learn about specific medicinal plants that can be found year round 

Registration is required for all attendees. Cost includes all materials for each make-and-take class.

*Tinctures contain alcohol.

Join us throughout the seasons for a year of herbal wisdom, hands-on learning, and community connection. Each class blends practical herbal education with creative, soul-nourishing experiences designed to help you weave plant medicine into everyday life. All make-and-take classes take place on a Saturday from 9AM-12:30PM

December 13, 2025- Christmastime Make and Take

Celebrate the season with warmth and creativity! Craft an herbal wreath, blend your own custom herbal teas, pomander balls, and simmer pot bundles (or lotion bars). A cozy and joy-filled way to honor winter’s gifts.

February 21,  2026- Mental Health: Adapting Through Life’s Challenges

Discover how adaptogens can support resilience, calm, and balance during life’s changing seasons. Learn about herbs that strengthen the nervous system, support the adrenals, and nurture emotional well-being.

March 14, 2026- Backyard Apothecary: Plant Your Own Apothecary!

Turn your garden (or patio!) into a healing space. Learn how to grow, harvest, and prepare medicinal herbs for your home apothecary, and take home seeds and inspiration to begin your own herbal garden.

April 25, 2026 — Herbal First Aid Kit Salves and Salads- plantain/ yarrow salve and adding healing plants to your diet.

Build confidence in natural care by creating your own herbal first aid kit. We’ll cover remedies for cuts, burns, bites, and common ailments—plus hands-on practice blending salves, tinctures, and sprays.

June 26, 2026 — Supporting Dysregulation in Children with Herbs

Explore gentle, natural ways to support children through emotional and sensory challenges. Learn about herbs that calm the nervous system, ease anxiety, and help restore balance and regulation.

August 15, 2026 — Wild Beauty: Herbs for Radiance & Resilience

True beauty begins within. Discover herbs that nourish skin, hair, and spirit, helping you glow through all of life’s elements. Includes recipes for teas, masks, and tonics that honor your inner and outer radiance.

October 3, 2026 — Infection Prevention & Immune Support Natural ways to support your child through sickness, and herbs that work!

Prepare for the colder months with nature’s medicine chest. Learn about herbs and daily practices that support immune health and prevent infection, and make your own immune-boosting remedies to take home.

November 14, 2026 — Rest & Renewal: Herbs for Deep Sleep Cycle healing for women.

Sink into rest and restoration. This class explores herbs that soothe the mind, relax the body, and support restorative sleep, helping you create nightly rituals for true replenishment.
